The second annual Bow Wow Meow Family Festival will take place on August 17 from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m at the Cartersville Civic Center. There will be animals for adoption, vendors, games, speakers, performers, and animal education. Fun for the whole family!

Odds & Ends sponsored a lunch at NorthPointe church yesterday. The topic was pet therapy -- Lisa Crane from Homestead Hospice did a great presentation on how they find and use dogs as therapy for their hospice patients.
